Welcome to our monthly small business spotlight. This month we’re highlighting The Northville Gallery Art & Framing. A Main Street establishment, the Northville Gallery has artwork for any space or occasion, from custom coasters to wall-size paintings.
Opened in 2005, the Northville Gallery features local artists as well as art from around the world. Under the current owner, Derek Blair, the Gallery has centered around the community, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a City event that it hasn’t supported in some way. Visitors to Main Street downtown will no doubt be familiar with the giant selfie frame, very appropriately built by and located in front of the Northville Gallery.
The Gallery also hosts Artist Meet & Greet sessions on the first Friday of the month, giving local artists a broader audience and the community an opportunity to get to know the artists in their midst. Open Mike Nights in the summer provide a platform for local musicians to perform their own style of art. Inside the store, paintings and prints mingle with jewelry, pottery, and other creations, offering a wide range of items for gifts or home decor.
Along with the art in the store, the Northville Gallery is also a custom frame shop. Consultants will work with you to find the perfect frame to set off your favorite work of art or enhance your home’s style. They’ll also professionally install your art, ensuring items are hung properly and safely, and can even create an art scheme throughout your home or office.
If you’re a collector or have a special piece of memorabilia that you want to display, look no further. From signed jerseys to your grandparents’ wedding photos, the design staff will treat your items with care and work with you to create the perfect setting for your special items.
